LinkedIn Send Limits and Warm-up
When a LinkedIn account is connected, your AI agent answers its LinkedIn conversations next to your other channels. Each connected LinkedIn account has its own daily allowance for messages and connection requests; accounts don’t share one.
Where to find the limits
- In the left sidebar, click Settings near the bottom.
- In the Settings left rail, under Channels, click Channels.
- Find the LinkedIn send limits card. It shows one row per connected LinkedIn account, with what it has sent today.
- Click Adjust limits on the account you want to change. The LinkedIn daily limits window opens.
In that window you can set:
- Messages per day and Connection requests per day: how much this account may send each day.
- Reading limits: how many profiles this account may open and how many searches it may run each day. Leave a box empty to use the default.
- Warm-up: see below.
Click Save limits to apply your changes.
If an account reaches its limit, nothing is lost: messages are queued and sent automatically after midnight in the LinkedIn account’s own time zone. Replies you type yourself count toward the same daily message budget as the AI’s.
Warm-up
A newly connected LinkedIn account starts low and gets a little more room every day until it reaches the limit you set. This is the safest way to build up volume, because LinkedIn restricts accounts that suddenly send a lot more than before. While an account is warming up, its row and the LinkedIn daily limits window show which warm-up day it is on, and a limit you set above what the warm-up allows today applies once the warm-up reaches it.
You can turn warm-up off. In the LinkedIn daily limits window, switch off the Warm-up toggle. Because this lifts the ramp straight away, a warning appears and you have to tick I understand the risk and want to lift the ramp for this account before you can save. Only do this for an account that has already been sending at this volume elsewhere. Switching warm-up back on needs no confirmation.
Tip: Warm-up is set per LinkedIn account, so turning it off for one account leaves your other accounts warming up as before.
