bellNotifications

DM Champ can notify you about important events across multiple channels, so you never miss a critical update - whether it is a new contact, a credit alert, or a message that needs human attention.

To configure your notifications, go to Settings > Notifications.

Notification Channels

You can receive notifications through any combination of these channels:

Channel
Description

Email

Notifications sent to your registered email (and any additional recipients you add).

In-App

Alerts shown inside the DM Champ dashboard.

Webhook

Automatic notifications sent to an external system (such as your CRM or automation platform) via your configured webhook URL.

You can enable or disable each channel independently, and choose which events trigger notifications on which channels.

Notification Categories

DM Champ sends notifications for the following event categories. You can toggle each one on or off.

WhatsApp Status Changes

Get notified when your WhatsApp connection status changes - for example, if your WhatsApp Web session disconnects or your WhatsApp Business API status updates.

Subscription Updates

Alerts about your subscription status: renewals, plan changes, payment failures, or subscription expirations.

Template Approvals

Get notified when your WhatsApp message templates are approved, rejected, or need modifications by Meta.

Credit Alerts

Notifications when your credit balance is running low. This helps you avoid service interruptions.

Auto Recharge

Alerts when an auto-recharge is triggered to top up your credit balance.

Human Alerts

Get notified when the AI bot flags a conversation for human attention - for example, when a contact asks to speak with a person or the bot encounters something it cannot handle.

Campaign Status

Alerts about changes to your campaign status - for example, when a campaign goes live, completes sending, or encounters an error.

Message Reads

Get alerted when contacts read your messages (on channels that support read receipts, such as WhatsApp).

New Contacts

Notifications when a new contact is added to your account - whether created manually, imported, or added via the API.

Chat Summaries

Receive a notification when a conversation summary is generated for a chat session.

Do Not Disturb

Get notified when a contact's Do Not Disturb status is set, meaning automated messages will stop being sent to that contact.

Reopened Chats

Alerts when a previously resolved or paused chat is reopened by a contact sending a new message.

Contact Unarchived

Get notified when a previously archived contact sends a new message, bringing them back into your active inbox.

AI Paused Messages

Get notified when the AI bot pauses on a conversation - for example, when it encounters a situation it cannot handle and needs human review.

Appointments

Notifications about new appointment bookings, cancellations, or modifications through the DM Champ booking system.

Sub-Account Creation

If you are on an agency plan, get notified when new sub-accounts are created under your agency.

API Errors

Alerts when automated connections to your DM Champ account fail. This is useful if you have set up integrations with other tools and want to know immediately if something breaks.

Email Notification Recipients

By default, notifications are sent to your account email address. You can add additional recipients so your team members also receive important alerts.

Adding a Recipient

  1. In the Notifications settings, find the Email Recipients section.

  2. Click Add Email.

  3. Enter the email address.

  4. DM Champ sends a verification email to the new address.

  5. The recipient must click the verification link to start receiving notifications.

You can add multiple email recipients. Each one must be verified before they start receiving notifications.

Removing a Recipient

Click the Remove button next to any email address to stop sending notifications to that recipient.

Notification Frequency

Control how often email notifications are delivered:

Frequency
Description

Real-time

Notifications are sent immediately as events occur. Best for critical alerts.

Every 5 minutes

Notifications are batched and sent every 5 minutes.

Every 15 minutes

Notifications are batched and sent every 15 minutes.

Every 1 hour

Notifications are batched and sent once per hour.

Daily digest

All notifications from the day are compiled into a single daily email. Best for low-priority updates.

Choose a frequency that balances staying informed with avoiding notification overload. For most users, real-time for critical alerts (credit alerts, human alerted, AI paused) and a daily digest for informational items (new contacts, message reads) works well.

Toggle All Notifications

At the top of the notifications settings page, you can quickly turn all notifications on or off with a single toggle. This is useful if you need to temporarily silence all alerts (for example, during a vacation) without losing your individual settings.

When you turn notifications back on, your previous per-category settings are restored.

Tips

  • Start with real-time for critical events like "Human Alerted," "Credit Alerts," and "AI Paused Messages" so you can respond quickly.

  • Use daily digest for informational events like "New Contacts" and "Message Reads" to keep your inbox manageable.

  • Add your support team as email recipients for events like "Human Alerted" so someone is always available to jump in.

  • Enable webhook notifications alongside email if you want to trigger automations in external systems based on DM Champ events.
