# Exporting Your Contacts

You can download your contacts as a file at any time - for your records, to use in another tool, or as a backup.

## How to Export Contacts

Click **Contacts** in the left sidebar to open the Contacts page. Then choose one of these three options:

### Option A: Export All Contacts

Click the **Export All Contacts** button to download every contact in your account.

### Option B: Export Selected Contacts

1. Use the checkboxes next to each contact to select the ones you want.
2. Click **Export Selected**.

### Option C: Export an Entire List

1. Select a list from the left side of the page.
2. Click **Export All Contacts in List** to download just the contacts in that list.

## What the Exported File Contains

Your downloaded file includes the following information for each contact:

* **First name**
* **Last name**
* **Phone number**
* **Last message sent** (if any)
* **Date the contact was created**

The file is in CSV format, which you can open in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet app.
